Anna Barra has always had a passion for assisting others in every vocation she's had the opportunity of working with. She moved from Orange County to Visalia, CA in 1986. She previously worked for Home Savings of America for 10 years. She later worked for Mortgage Express. She was a CASA Advocate for Tulare County. It was during this time that fueled her passion to be a foster mother and adopted mother for children experiencing abuse and neglect; and did so in Tulare County for 10 years. She later worked for Jan & Gail's Care Home in Visalia . Worked for People's Care in Visalia. As she became more driven in helping those who experience Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities, she established Above and Beyond Care, LLC in 2017.

"Kyla" has worked in Mental Health and Behavioral Health services for 13 years. While attending Stanislaus State University, she started her career working for a 24-hr Warm Line/Crisis Line and shortly afterward, worked at a Respite home for those experiencing homelessness, substance abuse, and mental health concerns. Previously, she volunteered at "Josie's Place" (a drop-in center for Transitional Aged Youth) and co-facilitated support groups. She has had experience with assessing suicidal ideation, risk of harm, de-escalation of behavior, and providing peer support. For the past 8 years, she has dedicated her knowledge and experience in assisting individuals receiving services from Central Valley Regional Center. These individuals all have Developmental and or Intellectual Disabilities.

Jo has been working in the Mental Health Profession for 16 years in a variety of professions which include; Peer Support Specialist, Clinical Services Technician, Crisis Intervention Specialist, Behavioral Health Specialist, Case management, and Conservatorship. During this time in the field, he attended Stanislaus State University and also received Associate Degrees in Sociology/Human Services as well as a Certificate in Psychosocial Rehabilitation from Modesto Junior College. The skills he has acquired through education and in the profession include de-escalation techniques, Crisis screening & Intervention, Cultural Competency, Conservatorship, 5150 Evaluations, Rehabilitation, Case Management, Active & Empathic Listening as well as first-hand knowledge in Suicide First Aid, Psychological First Aid, and Mental Health First Aid.
He's had experience working with a variety of populations which include those experiencing chronic homelessness, developmental disabilities, mental illness, chronic medical conditions, juvenile justice, and transitional aged youth (TAY).

Kane is a compassionate team-driven leader with 11 years of calculative analysis, communication, personnel development, and organizational skills. Kane has been working in the healthcare field for three years. Before this, Kane served in the U.S Air Force for 8 and a half years. Kane was a basic trauma instructor for 5 years, teaching and retraining personnel on basic safety and life-saving measures. During this time in the training department, Kane coordinated with multiple organizations to plan and schedule personnel for routine training classes while ensuring the quality of care of the Air Force's most expensive assets. After Kane was honorably discharged from the military, he has since had a passion in serving those who are experiencing developmental and intellectual disabilities.
